Why 3:14 cakes?

3:14 cakes was born out of a hobby and a passion for baking. As an independently owned bakery, we are able to offer our clients the utmost attention to detail and customization options that are truly one-of-a-kind. We specialize in cakes for all occasions, from birthdays to weddings, and everything in between.

Our core values are rooted in Christianity, and we believe in spreading joy and happiness through our sweet treats. 3:14 cakes was inspired by Makenzie's favorite bible verse.

meet the baker

Hi, I'm Makenzie, proud owner and head decorator of 3:14 cakes. I got my first job at a local bakery and quickly realized how much I loved to decorate cakes. I stayed in the baking industry throughout high school and went to college to major in accounting.

In 2023, I started making cakes on the side for friends and family, rediscovering my passion for baking and decorating cakes. So, I decided to start 3:14 cakes, just for fun. After a few short months, orders started flying in and I'm now considering it as a full time career. Starting this business has been an absolute blessing and provided me the opportunity to connect with many passionate entrepreneurs.

What was once a fun hobby, quickly turned into a passionate career of creating custom cakes with lots of love.
